These candlesticks were originally push-up style. The candlesticks have cut corner square bases and a faceted design to the knops at the upper portion of the shaft. Very handsome and usable set. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThese three candlesticks are in good overall condition. One of the taller candlesticks is a little loose at the base, and has a long bolt for the push up mechanism. This candlestick also rocks a bit. The other tall candlestick has lead solder in the bottom, so it is very solid, but no push up mechanism. The short candlestick still has the push up mechanism in the underside, and the shaft is firm and tight to the base. Some wax residue to all three. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eAll three candlesticks have an English registry mark on the side of the base, number 223580, indicating a date of 1893. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe pair of candlesticks stands about 8 3\/4 inches tall and the bases measure about 3 inches square.
