EMG Kirk Hammett Bone Breaker Signature Pickup Set (KH-BB)

If you want to harness Kirk Hammett's tone, you need the right building blocks — and his sound has always started with EMG pickups. His signature Bone Breaker active humbuckers benefit from a tweaked preamp, as well as a powerful combination of Alnico V and ceramic magnets.

These moderate-output humbuckers aren't limited to paint-peeling high-gain tones, either (although they pull those off nicely). Rather, they're capable of both crushing grind and bell-like clarity without sacrificing gain for clean or vice-versa.

Whether you're aiming for crisp leads or smooth rhythm sounds, EMG's Bone Breakers place Kirk's trademark tone right in your hands.
