These candlesticks were originally push-up style. The candlesticks have cut corner square bases and a balustroid design to the shafts. Very handsome and usable set. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThese candlesticks are in good overall condition. Both have the push up mechanism in the underside of the base, but they don't move with gentle pressure and we have not tried to move them more forcefully than that. One rocks just a bit.
